How to Delete a Chat in ChatGPT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When I want something gone for good<\/em>, here\u2019s what I do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open your ChatGPT chat history<\/strong> (it\u2019s the sidebar on the left).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Hover over the conversation you want to delete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click the three dots (\u22ef)<\/strong> next to the chat title.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select Delete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Confirm when ChatGPT asks, \u201cAre you sure?\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
